What’s the difference between difficult work and frustrating work?

Business owners frequently say to me, “My tolerance is so much lower than it used to be. Doing (enter type of work) never used to bother me.” Call it burnout, experience, wisdom, or impatience; it really doesn’t matter.

You are supposed to enjoy your business. You are in control of every aspect of the business and have the ability to do only those things you like to do.

Sometimes our patience level for general BS is really just a desire for a task or project to be easier than it is. This is understandable. Every business owner has 35 to-dos at all times, so a frustrating 36th task can raise your ire.ou enjoy, right?

If you really think about it, frustration grows from feeling overwhelmed or believing a task is just too much of a stretch or even seemingly impossible. When something doesn’t seem doable, that’s how we feel.

Sometimes moving from your current state to a Half-Retired state feels the same. Where do you start? How will you be able to cut your work in half when you can’t finish your current load?

That’s why we created a blueprint. There’s a six-step process that breaks things down into bite-sized steps, so you won’t feel frustrated.
